Thanks, the advantage of your living room also being your game room.

I'm in the process of building a game/media room in my basement.

You don't need a game/media room in your basement when you have a setup in your living room like that. Unless you want some privacy perhaps or someone else wants you out of the way and into the basement.

Well, in the basement I can make an sound proofish room, seal out all the light, and I want to get a 1080 projector.

Thanks man, I dont think its that special. But make gaming and movies lots of fun. The sound it kicks out is amazing. 7 Klipsch surround speakers and a 12" woofer. Makes the whole neighborhood shake. My neighbor asked once if there was a war going on in my house once when playing COD4

Why would you want to seel out all light? Surely some light is good in a room? In games manuals I have noticed it says play games in full light. Can't be healthy just to have the glow of the TV screen in a dark room whilst playing videogames.

Also, is your ps3 the 80gb version?

For a HD projector, light=bad. your right though, playing games in the dark can make you sick.

My PS3? I believe its the rare 80gig that has the 4 USB, Memory cards spots and backwards compat with PS2/1

Ah right. I have never had a HD projector so I wouldn't know about that. My ps3 is on the way out right now I think, the graphics are lagging like hell in Fallout 3 for some reason. Sometimes in VATS the game freezes and then carries on about 90 seconds later... wtf is that? I think I may have to get a replacement console, I'm thinking about selling this one on ebay and getting an 80gb model.
