Nothing worse than uneven teams. Halo 3 was one of the few online FPS's I played regularly, at the time. It did seem to have a good online system. If Bungie could do it... why couldn't Epic? I suppose that is just a futile question.

Initially Epic made GOW have only 5 rankings. Whereas Halo 3 uses both the numeric level system and a rank system.

Eventually Epic put out a path that included more rankings, but it was not until months after GOW2 came out.

And lost players like you I would imagine, by being too late with their update to the online system.
