Rainbow Six DLC impressions
I honestly didn't think the 'dark' levels would be that good at all. My first to play was CQB Training Dark, 6 vs 6 Team Leader. First off this level is pitch black dark. It's not Blackout (Halo 3) which has lights everywhere. These levels are dark as hell and they have a very eerie/scary/creepy feeling to them for some reason. The opposing team can be around any corner. And let me tell you, when you are crouched going around a corner slowly and all of a sudden 4 enemies pop up out of cover is scary as hell. I wanted to **** myself. You have to approach the dark levels differently because you don't know where anyone is at. Especially when people are wearing all black. If you play the game like splinter cell and check every damn corner you will dominate. But if you start to rush the other team like some n00bs do you will get picked off fast. Most veteran players like to sit back and snipe for the first few minutes because they know n00bs will try to rush like they do on Villa. sorry that won't work on these levels
Murdertown dark is basically the same as CQB training dark. The level is extremely dark. Murdertown dark is a little harder to navigate because most buildings have 2 stories and if your not using night vision you can loose track of where you are pretty easily. People try to stay close to the buildings but when I saw someone running in the middle it was very easy to pick them off. The team leader matches on this level lasted longer because of the layout but it was pretty fun.
I never played Vegas 1 online so this was my first time playing Calypso Casino. This level is freakin huge. We played Attack & Defend for a looooonngg time and every match was totally different. I like this level a lot because its so big. A&D on this level was a blast I can see myself playing that a lot.
All and all I think this DLC is pretty damn good. The dark levels are sick, the matches are so intense and people talk more than they usually do. The DLC was free so I'm not complaining. If you still have this game download this as soon as you sign on and try out those levels. you won't be disappointed
