Folks can't get enough of those Mythic maps, as Halo 3 frags its way to the top of the Xbox Live charts for another week. The siren's song of plasma grenades and billion-dollar cyborgs bested the Nazi zombie-killing antics of Halo nemesis, Call of Duty: World at War.

On the Xbox Live Arcade side, the first and second placeholders from last week have switched, with Hasbro Family Game Night taking the top spot on the charts, and OutRun Online Arcade moving down to the second spot. For the full rundown, hit up Major Nelson's stats.

It's on top because there aren't any other really good MP games out.. and Bungie is always trying to improve Halo 3 with playlist updates etc.

Im pretty sure iv stated this so many times, if any of you still wonder why its still on the top and so popular...

Its the one game with such an immense reputation that all newbies to Xbox 360 buy when purchasing the console, the one game that has such a high reputation that its the first thing the buyers have heard of and or played the previous titles on the original Xbox. Thus the one game that sells the most.

I still play Halo when I have time for it. Halo 3 is the most balanced MP game for the 360. This is the reason why its up on top again. Also the new maps are sick.

Halo 4 is coming to the next xbox and is being made by Gearbox.

Gearbox is the ones who made halo 1.

There's nothing like creating your own map on Sandbox. You have three levels on the same map to work with. Can't your COD or Gears 2 do that?
