I have had my Xbox for a little over a year, and I am almost at 10k Gamerscore. If I had 100% completed all the games I own, I would have reached 10k already.

How long did you have your 360 before you reached the 10k milestone?

Had my 360 since launch and psh....i got it roughly 3 months ago. I dont go out and buy/rent the big hitters. I get games that are fun and are long lasting.

Almost 2 years. I remember the achievement, too. It was an Overkill achievement on Halo 3 for 5 points. I got it right after I got the Steppin' Razor achievement on the pit, near the OV spawn.

I'm still not there. I don't try for achievements unless they're fun so they're usually just a bonus for me playing through a game.

I used to go for achievements but i stopped some months ago.
Im almost there just roughly around 700 points and i will get 10 grand. ive had my 360 for almost 2 years i think

But the thing is i dont want to get it cause i dont like that number.

It took me a year and just under a 1/2 to get over 10K.

I am like most of you all I don't try for achievements. Lately my younger brother, who just broke the 10k mark in less then a year, has been having a one sided competition against me. The funny thing is that the percentage of achievements per game is higher for me then it is for him.

I broke 10k in about eight months, it took me about another 5 or six to break twenty

Probably about a year.

Well I would have to say that it took me around maybe 2 1/2 months.......... when xbox 360 first came out and the big releases came out.......... I had no life....

I'd say it took me about, 3 months or so to reach 10,000G.
